Meet Our Suppliers: Farm Fresh Produce

Meet Our Suppliers: Farm Fresh Produce

At Revolver Kitchen, "locally sourced" isn't just a buzzword – it's a commitment that shapes our menu and our business. We're proud to partner with local farmers to bring you the freshest ingredients possible, supporting our community while delivering exceptional flavor.

Bowers Family Farms

Our beef comes exclusively from Bowers Family Farms on Colorado's eastern plains. Their cattle are pasture-raised and corn-finished, resulting in beef that's both ethical and delicious. We visited their operation last month and were impressed by their commitment to sustainable farming practices and animal welfare.

"We raise our cattle the way our grandparents did," says John Bowers, third-generation rancher. "No shortcuts, no compromises – just good land management and respect for the animals."

Bluepoint Bakery

All our bread products come from Bluepoint Bakery in Denver's Baker neighborhood. Their artisanal approach results in perfect buns for our burgers and baguettes for our sandwiches. They start baking at 3 AM each day, ensuring we get the freshest bread possible.

We especially love their sourdough, which uses a starter that's been maintained for over 15 years!

Mile High Urban Farm

During growing season, we source many of our vegetables from Mile High Urban Farm, a remarkable operation that transforms unused urban spaces into productive gardens. Their tomatoes, peppers, and herbs travel less than 10 miles to reach our truck.

Mile High also runs educational programs for local schools, teaching kids about sustainable agriculture and healthy eating – a mission we're proud to support through our partnership.

Red Bird Farms

Our chicken comes from Red Bird Farms, where birds are raised without antibiotics or hormones. Their focus on humane treatment and clean feeding practices results in chicken that's noticeably more flavorful and has better texture than conventional options.

Community Impact

Working with local suppliers doesn't just give us better ingredients – it helps strengthen our regional food system, reduce transportation emissions, and keep money in our local economy. When you eat at Revolver Kitchen, you're part of this positive cycle.

We encourage you to ask us about our suppliers when you visit the truck. We love sharing the stories behind our ingredients and connecting our customers with the remarkable people who grow and produce our food.
