Food Truck Festival Highlights

What an incredible weekend at Denver's annual Food Truck Festival! We're still buzzing from the energy, the amazing people we met, and the honor of winning 'Best International Cuisine'! For those who couldn't make it, here's a recap of this fantastic event.

Record Attendance

This year's festival brought in over 15,000 attendees across the two-day event, making it the largest turnout in its seven-year history. The beautiful weather certainly helped, but the real draw was the incredible variety of food options from over 40 trucks representing cuisines from around the world.

Our Award-Winning Menu

We are beyond honored to have received the "Best International Cuisine" award from the festival judges! For the event, we created a special menu that showcased our globally-inspired approach:

  • Korean-Inspired Colorado Beef Tacos - Our fusion take with gochujang-marinated Bowers Farm beef, kimchi slaw, and sesame-lime crema
  • Mediterranean Lamb Sliders - Featuring local lamb, harissa aioli, cucumber, and mint on house-made mini pitas
  • Indian Street Corn - Our twist on elote with masala spices, curry leaf butter, and coconut crema

The judges particularly praised our commitment to using local ingredients while authentically honoring the global cuisines that inspire us.

Community Connections

Beyond the food, the festival was an incredible opportunity to connect with our community. We met longtime fans and first-time customers alike, all sharing their enthusiasm for Denver's vibrant food scene.

We also had the chance to meet many fellow food truck operators, exchanging stories and ideas. The camaraderie among the vendors was one of the highlights of the weekend - despite the competition aspect, there was a genuine spirit of support and celebration.

Learning Moments

Of course, not everything went perfectly! On Saturday, we underestimated demand and sold out of our Korean tacos by 2 PM. Sunday morning was a scramble to prep additional ingredients, but our dedicated team made it happen. It was a good reminder of why we always need a Plan B (and sometimes C and D) in the food truck business.

Looking Ahead

The festival has energized us with new ideas. We met so many people asking about certain dietary preferences, so we're working on some new menu items that will accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets without sacrificing flavor.

We're also considering adding some of our festival specials to our regular rotation, given how popular they proved to be. Stay tuned for announcements!
